Job Summary
The Web Application Developer will work in a small development team in support of the US Air Force Medical Readiness Agency (AFMRA) located at Fort Detrick, MD. This program supports1000+ users across 81 Air Force bases.

The Web Application Developer will work in a small development team in support of the US Air Force Medical Readiness Agency (AFMRA) located at Fort Detrick, MD. This program supports1000+ users across 81 Air Force bases.
This role will include, but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:
The developer will create and maintain web applications using React, Ext JS, and other JavaScript libraries for facilitating front-end functionality. The developer will utilize .NET technologies for server-side functionality (database operations, business logic, etc.). The developer will contribute to SQL database scripts, procedures, and designs. The developer will implement application features and designs based on the work, feedback, and requirements provided by the client. The developer will, as needed, produce wireframes and prototypes for new features and systems. The developer will help facilitate user testing in order to gather feedback and will respond by making appropriate changes in their work. As needed, the developer will provide documentation on new development, internal processes, etc. The developer will participate in a peer review process for all code contributions – a collaborative mindset with the ability to provide and receive constructive criticism is necessary.

Required Skills/Experience:
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Department of Defense Public Trust Clearance
- 5 years of web development experience
- Experience with JavaScript-based front-end application development (React, Ext JS, or similar)
- .NET and other Microsoft technologies (C#, SQL Server)
- Experience with version control (Git and GitHub experience a plus)
- Well-rounded troubleshooting capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- React experience (16.8 or later)
- Knowledge/usage of TypeScript
- Experience with application design and CSS/SCSS
- .NET database technologies (ADO.NET, Entity Framework a plus)
- Active DoD Secret clearance a plus, but not required
