Topology uses advanced digital tools to deliver a tailored eyewear solution for optical practices and individual consumers.

Our retailer platform enables opticians to serve patients more efficiently and effectively by combining precise 3D digital optical measurements with advanced virtual try-on. In addition to optimizing the in-store experience, we also enable retailers to serve their patients remotely—from initial scan, to try-on, to delivery.

For consumers, our app offers a brand new way to shop for eyewear. Advanced digital scanning and try-on provide a more convenient shopping experience—either in-store or at-home.

We’re looking for our first dedicated web developer to lead a project requiring responsive design that works across various embedded states, including mobile.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• 3-5 years of experience in web development
• Familiarity with React, ES6/TypeScript, HTML, SASS/SCSS, and NPM (Node Package Manager)
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs (take designs from Figma and materialize in code)
• Ensure compatibility across wide range of devices/browsers
• Work with RESTful JSON APIs
• Set up a new React project for extensibility and maintainability, following good practices
• Establish a new branch of development culture as the first web project at the company

Nice to have:

• Deployment experience - running the application in production
• Experience integrating with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce
