We are looking for a full time WordPress Web Developer - Programmer who enjoys solving problems, building websites, collaborating with designers, and creating really cool stuff from scratch while leveraging modern tools and frameworks. You have built many WordPress sites, have examples of your work and an active GitHub account. You enjoy writing decoupled, clean code where less is more and deployments are easy.

Please present links to a portfolio website or recent websites (note what part of the website you contributed to) and 3-5 code examples (php, JavaScript, CSS, SASS).

BS Computer Science is a nice to have or minimum 5 years job experience.

Skills

• Excellent understanding of WordPress and the WP API


• Good knowledge of the WordPress Advanced Custom Fields plugin


• Knowledge of WordPress API and how to consume and parse JSON.


• Expert level in CSS, LESS, SASS and responsive design


• Bootstrap framework (3.0 to current)


• JavaScript and jQuery (React a plus)


• Ability to build a WordPress theme from scratch


• PHP and WordPress plugin creation


• MySQL and familiarity with MySQL Workbench


• Mastery of GIT.


• node.js


• Modern design aesthetic and understanding of contemporary Web design and best practices


• Good knowledge of typographic principles


• Mastery of responsive design and mobile-first development


• Solid understanding of UX/UI and accessibility principles


• Fluency in written and spoken English

Hybrid Workplace
Currently we're working in the office two(2) days a week, Tuesday and Thursday. Beginning Jan 1st, 2023 we'll work three(3) days a week onsite. Days are TBD.
