As a WordPress Developer at Sports Fuel, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our website to ensure an exceptional online experience for our customers. Your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress sites that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance. You will work closely with our marketing and design teams to translate their requirements into functional websites that align with our brand image and business goals.

Key
Responsibilities:
1. Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to enhance the functionality and design of our website.
2. Customize existing WordPress themes to meet specific project requirements, including layout, navigation, and content display.
3. Optimize website performance by implementing best practices for speed, scalability, and SEO.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for website development.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and security.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, particularly in WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.
7. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of the website across different devices and screen sizes.
8. Implement and maintain web analytics tracking to monitor website traffic and user behavior.
9. Conduct regular website audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
10. Provide technical support and training to internal teams on website maintenance and content management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress sites.


• Proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.


• Advanced knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.


• Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile optimization techniques.


• Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
